Why we ask for your cell number
Fake accounts hurt everyone. Scammers post fake jobs, and bots sign up as fake drivers. A quick text code is the simplest way to make sure there's a real person behind every account. It keeps GroundHive trustworthy for you and for the companies hiring.
What we use it for
- Confirming it's you. One 6-digit code when you sign up.
- Getting back in. A code if you forget your password.
- Job alerts, only if you say yes. At most one text a day about new jobs near you.
What we never do
- Sell your number.
- Share it with anyone for marketing.
- Give it to companies you didn't apply to.
- Call you. We don't make sales calls or "check-in" calls.
Who can see it
Only companies you apply to, after our team has checked your application, so they can reach you about that job.
